Flowers for Father’s Day?

Filed under: father's day, flowers, fun, gardening, life, thoughts — homeandgardeninsights @ 5:57 pm

With the holiday approaching, I was wondering how many people send flowers for father’s day and what their experience has been like, especially if they’ve grown them in their own garden.

  1. Hi – found you through the gardening category and wanted to give you my answer to your question. I haven’t sent flowers to my dad for Father’s Day but I have sent flowers to my husband at work for a special occasion and it was very well received. I think most of them are “man” enough just to appreciate the thought and something pretty to look at. It’s a lovely gesture from a child to a parent no matter what the sex. You’ll have to post and let us know if you decide to send flowers to your father.

  2. I was just wondering because I sent these flowers to my boyfriend at work and he got mad at me. Who’s right?

  4. I am surprised you have not gotten more responses. I think the flowers you sent were beautiful. I don’t know why your boyfriend would have gotten mad unless he is very shy or if he thinks you only sent them to look like you “owned” him. I would hope he would appreciate the flowers. Oh well. Regardless, I don’t think your dad would have that type of reaction. I think my dad would like them, although he’d never admit it!
